المقدمة 

النصوص تتناول ، بشكل عام ، أحداثاً وأقوالاً ذُكرت في كتب الحضارة العربية الإسلامية . حكى فيها مؤلفوها ما شاهدوه وسمعوه  في عصرهم ، أو ما كان متداولاً عند غيرهم من الأمم

.والوثائق هذه ، أسميها ، أحجاراً ثمينة ، خلفها أسلافنا ، كتبوا فيها معاناتهم وتجاربهم في تلك الأيام الصعبة

 ويمكن إدراج مضامينها تحت مسميات شتى ، مثل : حضارة ، إرث ، تراث ، مخلفات ، مذكرات ، وغيرها 

.نتاج فكري توارثته الأجيال على مر العصورلأهميته ولإرتباطه بالإنسانية عامة ، وبكل ماله صلة بحياة الفرد

عند قراءتنا للمصادر القديمة ، سنلاحظ في بعض منها مغالاة ، أو أموراً بعيدة عن الواقع ، لكن ذلك لايُقلل من أهميتها ، فربما  يصعب على جيلنا تقبلها ، وقد تأتي أجيال في المستقبل تستخلص منها حقائق ذات فائدة غابت عن أذهاننا

Introduction

The texts are dealing , in general , with events and sayings mentioned in the ancient books of the  Arabic and Islamic civilization. Authors recounted what they saw and hear in their times , or what were known among other nations . 

Those documents , I call precious stones , were left by our ancestors. They wrote their sufferings and experiences in those hard days .

 One can list their contents under various titles such as : civilization , legacy , heritage , remnant , diary , and the like . 

 An intellectual writings inherited by generations through ages , for their values and association with humanity in general as they concern matters related to individual's life .

In reading those ancient sources , we find sometimes exaggeration or matters far from reality , but that does not detract their importance . Perhaps , it is difficult for our generation to accept , but future generation  may extract useful facts which are hidden off from our mind .
